BEGINNER’S YOGA – 5 WEEK COURSE


Saturdays – 10.30 – 11.30 
24th February – 23rd March – 4 week course 

Starting anything new can feel daunting and intimidating. 
I hope to create a warm and welcoming space to support and guide those who wish to try yoga, so that they can build a firm foundation in the basic principles of the practice.  

In this course we will start from the basics and build up week-by-week so that by the end of the 5 weeks you have a confident grasp of the fundamentals of yoga.

Once you have an understanding of the postures, breathwork and alignment principles you will have the skills you need to develop your own home practice and be able to modify a led practice, be that in the studio or through my on-demand service in your own home.

Course Content

The course will focus on the physical postures, breathwork as well as elements of meditation. 

The course will cover:

  • Yogic Breathing (Pranayama)
  • Introduction to postural practice (Asana)
  • The foundations of the Sun Salutations (A&B)
  • A selection of standing & seated postures
  • How to use props and modify postures to suit your body and any existing injuries
  • Meditation and relaxation techniques

This 5-week course will take place in my home studio in Maidenhead on Saturday Morning’s.

This course is limited to 9 people to ensure lots of personal attention.

The cost for the whole course is £70. 

You do not need any previous yoga experience.
Come as you are and do what you can.
